Pick a Location
Someday Funday Rentals has 2 locations. Rentals are location-specific, so start by selecting your pickup spot.
-
E-bikes are available at all locations.
-
Water rentals (SUPs, canoes, BOTE docks), party supplies, and trikes are only available at our San Gabriel Park location in Georgetown.
If something is marked unavailable, check our other locations—it may still be available elsewhere.

San Gabriel Park
Our San Gabriel location is based at The Thirsty Longhorn Sports Bar, right on the scenic San Gabriel River. From here, you’ll have direct access to miles of paved trails leading to the Georgetown Dam, Lake Georgetown, and Downtown Square. This is the only location offering water rentals, party supplies, and trikes, in addition to e-bikes. Grab one of our backpack coolers or Bluetooth speakers to level up your ride, and make your day outdoors even more fun and convenient.

The Vineyard at Florence
Located at the picturesque Vineyard of Florence, this e-bike only location offers a peaceful ride through scenic countryside and vineyard paths. Explore rolling hills, quiet backroads, and you might even spot some friendly animals along the way—including llamas! Whether you're here for a relaxing solo ride or a fun outing with friends, this is the perfect starting point to soak in Florence’s natural charm.
FAQ's
Age Requirements
Q: How old do I have to be to rent an e-bike?
Per Texas law, riders must be at least 15 years old to operate a Class 2 e-bike. This is a state requirement, not just an SFR policy.
Q: Can minors (ages 15–17) rent on their own?
A parent or guardian must sign the waiver for riders under 18. Additionally, Someday Funday Rentals reserves the right to refuse rental to any minor at our discretion if we do not feel the rider can safely operate the e-bike.
Helmets
Q: Do I have to wear a helmet?
Under Texas law:
-
Riders under 18: A helmet is REQUIRED at all times while on the e-bike.
-
Riders 18 and older: Helmets are optional but strongly recommended.
Helmets are provided free of charge with every rental.
Waivers & Payment
Q: How do I pay for my rental?
All payments are processed online for everyone's protection. No cash or in-person payments are accepted.
Q: Is there a waiver I need to sign?
Yes. A liability waiver will be emailed to you and must be completed prior to your rental time. If the waiver is not signed before your scheduled rental, we cannot release the bike.
Rental Duration & Pickup/Return
Q: What is the minimum rental time?
2 hours minimum. Based on rider feedback, 1-hour rentals did not allow enough time to explore the trails without feeling rushed. Two hours gives you the time to truly enjoy the ride.
Q: Where do I pick up and return the bike?
Bikes are picked up and returned at the same location. You must return the bike to the exact spot where you received it.
Locking & Security
Q: Do I need to lock the bike?
Yes. The bike must be locked at all times when not actively riding. A lock is provided with every rental.
Q: How do I lock the bike when returning it?
When returning, lock the bike frame to frame (through the frame of the bike to the rack or anchor point).
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Do NOT put the lock through the wheel. Threading the lock through the spokes can break a spoke and result in damage charges.
Damages & Fees
Q: What happens if the bike is damaged?
All damage is the renter's responsibility. This includes but is not limited to mechanical damage, cosmetic damage, and lost accessories (including locks).
Q: Is there a cleaning fee?
Yes. If the bike is returned with excessive water damage, mud, dirt, or other contamination requiring professional cleaning, a $300 cleaning fee will apply. All fee details are outlined in the waiver.
How to Operate Your E-Bike
Q: How do I operate the e-bike?
Our e-bikes are Class 2, meaning they have both pedal-assist and a throttle. A brief orientation is provided at pickup, but here are the basics:
-
Power on: Press the power button on the display panel.
-
Pedal-assist: Use the +/- buttons to set your assist level (higher = more motor help).
-
Throttle: Use the thumb throttle on the handlebar for motor power without pedaling.
-
Braking: Squeeze both brake levers gently and evenly. The motor cuts off automatically when brakes are applied.
All policies, fees, and liability terms are detailed in the rental waiver. Please read it thoroughly before signing.
