What We Rent

Q: What watercraft and accessories are available?

We offer a variety of watercraft and lake accessories including:

• Stand-Up Paddleboards (SUPs)

• Canoes

• Floating Docks (Bote Dock)

• Hangout Floats (Bote Hangout)

• Coolers, magnetic drink holders, and other lake accessories

Age & Supervision Requirements

Q: Do minors need an adult present?

Yes. All watercraft rentals must be accompanied by an adult (18+). Minors may not rent or use watercraft without adult supervision at all times.

Safety & Life Jackets

Q: Are life jackets provided?

Yes. Paddles and life jackets (PFDs) are provided with every watercraft rental at no extra charge. We strongly encourage all renters to wear their life jacket at all times while on the water.

Q: Are life jackets required by law?

Under Texas law, children under 13 must wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket at all times while on any watercraft. Adults are not legally required to wear one, but we strongly recommend it for everyone's safety.

Rental Duration

Q: How long are watercraft rentals?

All watercraft rentals are by the day. Unlike our e-bike rentals, there is no hourly option for watercraft and inflatables.

Deposits & Damage

Q: Is there a deposit required?

Yes. A security deposit is required for all inflatable and watercraft rentals. The deposit amount varies based on the item(s) rented. The deposit is authorized on your card at checkout and released after the equipment is returned and inspected in satisfactory condition.

Q: What happens if the equipment is damaged?

All damage is the renter's responsibility. This includes punctures, tears, valve damage, lost accessories, and any other wear beyond normal use. Damage costs will be deducted from your deposit. If damage exceeds the deposit amount, the remaining balance will be charged to the card on file. All terms are outlined in the rental waiver.

Waivers & Payment

Q: How do I pay?

All payments are processed online for everyone's protection. No cash or in-person payments are accepted.

Q: Is there a waiver?

Yes. A liability waiver will be emailed to you and must be completed prior to your rental date. Equipment will not be released without a signed waiver.

 

Cancellations & Weather

Q: What if I need to cancel my reservation?

Cancellations are issued as a credit to your account. You will receive a code that can be used for a future rental. We do not offer cash refunds.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad?

If weather conditions make it unsafe to be on the water, you will receive a credit code for a future rental date. Safety always comes first.

 

Where to Launch

Q: Where can I use the watercraft?

You may launch anywhere stand-up paddleboards and non-motorized watercraft are permitted. Check with your local Parks & Recreation department for approved launch points and any area-specific rules.

Georgetown Parks & Rec: Visit parks.georgetown.org or call (512) 930-3595 for current lake access information and designated launch areas.

 

Rules & Regulations

Q: Are there any rules I need to follow on the water?

Yes. All renters must follow all applicable Parks & Recreation rules and regulations while using our equipment. This includes but is not limited to:

• Designated launch and landing areas

• No-wake zones and restricted areas

• Noise and hours-of-operation rules

• Litter and leave-no-trace policies

Failure to follow local rules is the renter's responsibility. Any fines or violations are not the responsibility of Someday Funday Rentals.

 

Inflation & Setup

Q: Do the inflatables come already inflated?

No. Inflatables are provided deflated. A hand pump is included with your rental so you can inflate on-site at your chosen launch location.

Q: Can I rent an electric pump?

Yes! Electric pumps are available to rent as an add-on for faster and easier inflation. Ask about adding one when you book.

 

Food & Drinks on the Water

Q: Can I bring food and drinks on the inflatables?

Yes! We encourage you to enjoy your time on the water. We also rent coolers and magnetic drink holders to keep your beverages secure. A few guidelines:

• No glass containers — for safety, use cans or plastic only

• Pack out all trash — leave no trace

• Follow all local Parks & Recreation rules regarding alcohol and open containers
